  1. you probably didnt have enough hcg to have a very distinct line but usually even a faint line means u are pregnant. wait a day or two and try again. good luck

  2. It is not recommended that you read a test past the time they suggest. Most tests say to read your results only up to 10 mins, any positive after that could be an evaporation line and can not be taken as a true positive. Take the test again and if you get a clear positive before 10 mins then you are probably pregnant. however any positive result after that time can not considered accurate.

  3. If you let a test stand for a while it can give a faint positive read. Or you could only have a small amount of HCG in your blood. If you are pregnant it will show up after the chemical doubles...so I would give it a few days and test again.

  4. The home pregnancy tests detect hormones so if there is not enough there the test could be really faint or even show a negative when you are actually pregant i would wait a couple of days and retest and if it is positive then you know you are and if it is negative i would have a doc. do a blood test because the odd time the test will still show up neg even when you are pregnant................ i asked a doc this once and he said that if the preg test is positive it is always right because the hormone has to be there ...... if it is neg it could still be positive ..... depending on when you got pregnant and how your body distributes the hormones ............
