Hey, i was just wondering what is the difference between fainting and collapsing ?

  1. There really isn't a difference. Fainting does not mean you will go unconscious ... that is when people refer to it as a collapse. Either way, its really the same thing... and needs medical attention.


  2. Fainting: blacking out, unconscious

    Collapsing: one's legs give way and one falls to the ground

    Collapsing can be fainting if the person blacks out.
