Fair/Carnival Games?

Question

You know in fairs and carnivals there the toss a ring to get it around a bottle. well it looks pretty easy but i cant seem to get it around. I know there a reason why but can you tell me how i can win? like a little tip. Throwing the full bucket is not allowed. Or do you just have to be lucky.

Is there a website out there that explains on how to win different types of games in fairs/carnivals and such?

The ring toss game is pretty much just luck but if you throw it like a frisbee you have a better chance to win. I work games at six flags and I have only ever got a ring on the bottle once and i have throw thousands of rings.
