Question:

Fair Skin....kind of on the pale side...?

I have very fair skin, and I have really light brown hair, it's almost blond. (It used to be blond). And I was wondering, if you have fair skin, does lighter hair make it look less pale. Like, is it less harsh, or does it really matter. Because I was going to dye my hair blond, but not like platinum blond or anything, just a natural blond. Would it help make my skin look less pale. (I don't want to look tan, I like being fair skinned but sometimes my mom says I look like a ghost.)

  1. Yeah, it definitely does make you look less pale because there is less of a contrast between your hair color and skin color.  I have dark hair and really pale skin, and I definitely look extremely pale.

  2. Yeah, I have fair skin (and don't want a tan), but I have dark brown hair.  It makes my skin look ghostly pale (awesome!).  If you have blond hair or any light hair for that matter, your skin will look less pale.

  3. I don't have fare skin, but I have two friends who have skin so pale, it looks like they're vampires. : P

One of them is a red head. SHe lightened her hair up and it looked WAY better then the darker side.  So, yes. Lighter hair goes good with whiters skin.

But also, pure black goes good with it, but only if you're pulling the gothic look out. Or, sometimes you can look good with black on pale skin. You'll be like one of the mayfair witches.......sorry. I'm currently reading The Witching Hour. Tehe.

Darker hair doesn't really go, my dear. In my opinion. It's either black, or lighter colors. No, darker colors.

    God Bless Dear.
