Pistol is lightly used, normal wear marks from normal use.

  1. Boker,  hands-on in gun shops, no gunbroker, I have seen them this month., NEW for $475-550.

Used models have been in the $350-400 range.

    You buying or selling?

I went on an in depth hunt this last month for another GP100, two gun shows and approx 40 pawnshops and dealers later, all I could locate was 2 new 6" models and a used 3".  I was only interested in another 6", and I was not willing to pay the $550 tag on the new one.

So I bought my Oly Arms AR.

Since ccw is widespread today, the short barrel models are holding value much better than the 4 and 6" models.

I gave $250 for my 6", and $275 for my 4", from the same pawnbroker here in town.

  2. Boker I wouldn’t pay more than $350 for that gun, some may pay $400 because it caught their fancy. I am going by what the average price I see for them in the lower 48 and here in Alaska. Just last month I bought a used stainless steel Ruger Redhawk 44 mag in the same condition as that one looks for $360.

  3. $400 would be a bit much for used, but I have seen OTC's going for $550 here in GA.

Another fantastic resource is www.firearmsforum.com, just post on that one and all the old geezers will come a runnin'.

**One of the guys at the forum quoted $165 for a 60% revolver and no higher than $365 for a 95%'er.

    Great firearm though!

  4. I'd say $425.00 maybe $450.00 and that's being generous. It's 19 years old, there is no way of knowing for certain, other than word of mouth, how many bullets been down the tube. A brand new one can be had for $550.00 if a person shops a little.

  5. That's a keeper, why not buy a pair of exotic wood stocks instead and keep it. When the plastic pistols start to decompose the all steel Ruger will still be humming along.

  6. Gunbroker has a bunch of GP100's with no bids yet ..but the starting bid is over $300 for all of them.

The 3" is a handy carry-gun.. and a bit rare for a Ruger.

Around here it's worth about $275-300 for trade...I'd ask about $475 to sell it over the counter.

Thats a nice Pistol... make an offer.

  7. I'd pay about 350 or so for that but not more than 400 unless it came with ammo and speedloaders and stuff.
