After talking with a counselor and had prayed over me, I had this dream. My two wise friends come with me to a Protestant Church which is located here in my home town. But, in reality, the name of that church doesn't exist. And, I had a g*y friend who is keep calling me and he is doing everything for me not to reach that church. Then, I am mad at that ****** and broke our ties. I went to that church. I am not attending the worship service because it is already finished. So I went to the comfort room to do my own thing, but it is crowded. I saw my college crush inside and wanted to do his own thing but he cannot because it is crowded inside. Regarding my talking with the counselor, I have been struggling with lusts. So I asked to cast out the demon who possessed me. And, started reading scriptures. That is my first dream after I decided to give up my infirmities to Jesus.

  1. Con grate!

    you witness something excellent

with the name of Jesus Christ.

  2. This dream means that you are actually still involved in worldly matters, though you want to be more spiritually advanced.  You are unable or unwilling to fully embrace the material world and at the same time unable to reach spiritual progress.  Lust is the result of the whispering of demons not possession by demons.  All you have do is say, I believe in God, his angels and messengers and whatever unclean thoughts you have will dissappear.

  3. From my experience, it's not enough to just cast out your demons, you need to replace them with something else to fill the void. Is your present church doing enough to meet your spiritual needs?

Here's where I think your dream is pointing you.

You have two friends who take you to their church, which you've never heard of before.  I don't think the name of the church is nearly as important as the lives these two friends lead. They may have come to light in your dream because of their upright lives, or you may have recognized the light of Christ at work in them and their lives-- dunno, but ask people around you-- the ones that have fruit, where do they go to church? Just because there is not a building with the name on it doesn't mean that there's not a group of believers who meet once a week. They may not even have a name for their "church" but what they accomplish could be good for you, nonetheless.

Obviously for you, the g*y friend represents sexual perversity that would try to block you from going down this road you've chosen.

And the college crush? Another distraction. One cast out demon does not make a changed life.

So here's what I'd like you to do:

    1) Pray over any impure thoughts as you have them (ask for forgiveness, ask God to purify your mind and heart) and pray for pure thoughts before bed too. None of us are perfect and I'm too hypothyroid to even understand what Kurt was speaking of. But the remedy to sin is what keeps us coming back to Jesus over and over.

    2) Read your Bible every day at the same time (that is, make a workable habit out of this.) It doesn't need to be for very long, just long enough to be blessed by what God is saying to you in his word. These are the things to dwell on, rather than lustful thoughts.

    3) Get an accountability/prayer partner. This is a gal who isn't perfect either, but wants someone to pray with once a week-- at your home or hers or starbucks or wherever!  I've been meeting with mine for two years or so now and we both benefit from this relationship. When I'm working on an issue that needs fixing, I'll ask her to call me and ask me if I'm still taking steps in the right direction  --and vice versa- support each other, give back.  If  you need help finding a partner, speak to the counselor you saw when you prayed.

    Blessings!

  4. Naturally you will be waiting for Silver Wings' answer and I shall be sidelined. Yet I am compelled to speak to you because you are a religious person and you just might listen to what the bible says about dreams and about who is boss in this world.

First the dream quote: "For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth ujpon men, in slumbering upon the bed: Then he openeth the ears of men (and women of course) and sealeth their instruction." (Job 33:14-16)

In short, our dreams are given by God, not just for our entertainment, but to show us what His plan is for us. In other words our dreams are the blueprint of our life and there is nothing we can do except follow this plan. In short whatever your problems are have been given to you by God for your benefit in fact. By struggling you awaken to His glory, there is no other way.

And to show you that whatever happens to you is RIGHT, for it is God that has ordered it to happen, I supply the biblical proof for it. This biblical proof is in Isaiah 45:6-7; "I am the Lord, and there is none else. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things."

Some will quibble with the word 'evil' and translate it with 'calamity'. It makes no difference, for the meaning of this verse is that God does all things, no matter what. Without Him there would be nothing.

So your LUST is also given from him. Because without Him there is nothing. Your temptations and wayward behaviour is also given by Him, for without Him there is nothing.

Your dream supports this, for whenever you want to do 'your own thing' as you call it, you cannot act. Your college crush too wants to do 'his own thing', but he too is prevented from acting simply because it is not in God's plan to do your own thing, but to do His thing. The same is indicated by the fictitious church; you can't go there because it doesn't exist. The service is finished; you have nothing to do in a fictitious place.

It means that you are living in Wantigong-Me-Me-Land. If you wish to come down to reality you will have to focus on God and God alone. You need no skill for that, only SURRENDER to God. You are on the way, for you have given up your infirmities to Jesus. There is only one question there: How do YOU give up infirmities to Jesus? Do you say take them away? Or do you say: “I accept whatever you give me for I believe that any gift from you, no matter how tough it may be, is what I need”. I prefer the latter, for I have learnt that Life is RIGHT in any case, and that resistance to what you have been given is not only an insult to God, but it also makes the adverse effects dig in their heels!

  5. Hi Kathy,

I'll be praying on this one, and get back to you.    What was the name of the church in the dream?

    Fairelight

OK, Kathy.  I knew Jynx is sick right now (having med changes for her thyroid, etc.) but she is one of my main prayer partners, and I know she has God's wisdom.  I asked her to read this and answer you if she felt guidance from God.  In my opinion, she's really done a great job!  So I won't add anything to this.  If you need extra encouragement, go to my website and read, and DON'T forget to use the music links.  They can help fill your mind with good things.  We wash our minds by "the water of the Word" (the Bible), and fill our minds with praise to God.  Demons HATE this!!!  They can't stand it when you sing to Jesus.  Oh, how they hate it!

If you can, rent the movie, THE PRINCESS AND THE GOBLIN, or read the book, by George MacDonald.  Look at the trolls as being demons, and see how they fight them.

Choose Jynx for best answer.  I think she really deserves it, don't you?  She's such a blessing to me!
