Question:

Fairly Expensive Paris Restaurant?

I am going to Paris in a month. I was wondering if anyone knew a good restaurant that offered dinner for 50 euros or less. I would prefer a relatively sophisticated restaurant with French cuisine (appealing dishes). Thanks!

  1. I'll tell ya what. I've been to Paris twice and have had all kinds of delicious food. Some of the yummiest stuff can be found on any corner for around 50 Euros for 2 people.

However, one thing I feel you should experience (especially if you love food) is fine Parisian dining. Last time I was there I was fortunate enough to go to Tailevent, this place is hands down the absolute best meal I've ever enjoyed. Place reservations ASAP because understandably a 3 month waiting list is not uncommon. I went with a large group of 14 and each of us paid $385 U.S. dollars. That may seem like a lot, and it is, but it was so very much worth every penny. Our meal took us about 5 hours, over a span of 6 courses. Plus we had a lot of wine too so that hiked the bill up a bit. This was truly an example of dining as an experience, each plate is meticulously prepared and crafted. Seriously, do it, save up, blow your hard earned cash, it's worth it.

  3. I'd walk down Champs Elysee and look at menus.  Don't forget to figure in the prices for tip, wine, and probably salad.
