Fairly Handy expected to win The Menzies Distribution Race
Much to his misfortune, Fairly Handy slightly missed the ace title of the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy on October 8 despite having won the Heat 1 of the grand tournament convincingly. That was a big blow to both the fawn and white dog and his trainer
G. Oswald.
As the two-year-old novice hound prepares to stretch his legs in the high-voltage contest of The Menzies Distribution Race, some sport experts opine that this is the best time for him to heal the wounds of his previous failure by winning the open race of
£200.
Fairly Handy is well-familiar with the Sheffield racecourse, thus, he will feel quite comfortable to run over 280 metres tonight.
The competition is going to be tough as all of his five rivals are strong enough, but the brilliant dog has enough potential to cope with this challenge.
Before this race, the talented son of Cushie Theory out of Wee Rose Garden has spent almost a week in training session that might have refreshed his lost form. Thus, he will prove to be effective while attempting to register first Sheffield victory.
Fairly Handy started his career in March 2012, and broke maiden by winning a T3 race on May 4. His second triumph came on July 21 when he daringly beat Lanesdown Geordy to lift the ace title of the Williamhill.com Sprint at Newcastle.
After a few decent podium finishes, Oswald’s brilliant pupil beautifully won the aforementioned Heat 1 race.
In the light of these stats, it is not hard to guess that the young dog has immense energy in his legs. He will surely outplay his competitors quite convincingly.
Millridge Hondo is too likely to perform well for the sake of one of the two other podium positions. The J. Smith trained fawn dog made a marvellous hat-trick each in July and August.
Throughout September, the veteran runner struggled well but failed to register a victory. As a whole, his OR record is not pleasant enough.
This situation depicts that Millridge Hondo’s resilience against Fairly Handy will make the event interesting enough. Good luck to both the contestants.
