The side lined batsman of Pakistan, Faisal Iqbal, has blamed the Pakistan Cricket Board for keeping him out of national cricket by playing tricks with him.
Faisal appeared on the national cricket circuit through First-class cricket in 1997-98 and was considered as a bright batting prospect for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755.
He is an attractive batsman who concentrates on performing with the assistance of timely and well placed strokes all around the ground.

He started his journey in Test cricket against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Auckland-c766, and scored 42 runs in the first innings and unbeaten 52 runs in the second innings.
It was a nice beginning for the youngster in the Test arena as Pakistan won that match by a huge margin of 299 runs and he made a reasonable contribution in the middle-order.
The right-handed batsman has been in the team under the wings of great batsmen like http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Yousuf-c77465 and was being tipped as a possible replacement for them.
He was neglected completely even after their retirement which was a cause of concern for him.
"I was being groomed for the middle order position amongst Inzamam ul Haq and Mohammad Yousuf. The point was for me to replace them after their retirements. However, even after they have left, I am being kept out of the side," he revealed.
Faisal has played 26 Tests and scored 1124 runs at an average of 26.76 runs, the best of 139 runs with eight fifties.
He took part in 18 One Day Internationals and scored 314 runs averaging 22.42 runs, with the best of unbeaten 100 runs.
The youngster has been on the national scene for more than ten years but was unable to get proper grooming from the PCB and its officials as far as weaknesses in the game were concerned.
He tried to overcome his shortcomings with his self assessments by going through his batting videos.
Faisal was dejected over the attitude of PCB who was giving preference to the newcomers instead of going for the experience.
"I have been victimised by the PCB and this has forced me into speaking with the media. Over the years, I have been affected by this, but I decided to speak out now. Players are coming into the side that have performed for a year or two, while I have been
performing for numerous years in the domestic circuit," shared a disgruntled Faisal.
He played his last Test against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 at the Sydney Cricket Ground, in January 2010.
He was hopeful that the matter will be looked upon by the higher management of the PCB as his services were available for the nation.
