Question:

Fake Bigfoot Legal Implications?

Since the two jokers who orchestrated the fake Bigfoot hoax caused others to spend large amounts of money flying the "monster" between states and obtaining "DNA analysis" on the "monster" as well, it seems to me there should be legal recourse for those who spent the big bucks taking their claims seriously. These guys are getting national advertisement for their "Bigfoot" business. Shouldn't they bear some responsibility as well, in the name of large fines, jail time or worse?

  1. Its cover up CIA FBI just fo want the public to know so they changed dna all that to make public think it is fake

  2. Dumb and dumber should be on the block for falling for this Bull$hit!

  3. the guy in palo alto is a known huckster. anyone who cares would have googled him, and found out. it is a little disingenuous to say  anyone was taken in at all.

any scientists involved gladly donate their time as "skeptics" to debunk this kind of stuff asap.

btw, flying to California and back from Georgia is hardly a "large amount of money" - probably 10s of thousands of people do it almost every day!

let's keep our priorities and sense of scale in line today, OK?

  4. The suit is in progress and the idiots are under a Federal Flight to Avoid Prosecution warrant as we now speak. If they had any sense they would give the money back and surrender to the Feds. If you do the crime, serve the time.

  5. Beyond the money they spent on the analysis, the bigfoot weirdos actually paid these two money to get the "corpse". That alone is fraud and/or theft.
