I heard if I spray lemon juice in my hair and spend time out in the sun it will lighten my hair like 1 shade. I have dark hair and i want it just a little brighter. I don't want to dye it though. I don't have real lemon juice but I have a spray bottle with water in it. If I put 2 packets of True Lemon Crystallized Lemon in the water will it still work? it says it has 100% natural ingredients. and 1 packet = 1 large wedge of lemon. if it does work just as good should I only use one packet? please help. i don't like the color of my hair!

  1. that wont work. it's the acid in lemon that does it. try some peroxide, diluded with water to lighten it. i should warn you, that it isn't good for your hair. i've tried vinegar too, but it didn't exaclty lighten my hair, it just brightened it a little and made it shiny. but yeah, the stuff you have wot work. you can also tyr sun-in, but you might get redish results, it seriously works well though.

  2. This is a bad idea because lemon juice is basically like natural peroxide for hair. It works best on blonds but will most likely turn your hair uneven shades on orange and dry out your hair really bad. You should consider getting natural henna if you don't want chemical dyes in your hair.
