Question:

Fake eyelash glue burns my eyelids.

I got some fake eyelashes and a adhesive applier. When putting on the eyelash, the glue burns my eyelid skin. Why is that? The adhesive I got was from Long's Drug Store in the Fresno area. The brand is Ardell LashTite Adhesive. Is something wrong with the glue or is it just that my skin is too sensitive?

  1. I don't wear fake eyelashes so, I don't know how this stuff works. Could you possibly be allergic to it?

  2. change the glue to DUO, its really good, i think i can get it from M.A.C cosmetics

  3. if it is the liquid glue then i had the same problem but them i switched to the white tube kind i hope this helps

  4. Try MAC's eye lash glue, it's actually surgical glue so I don't think it would burn.  I use it, and I have sensitive skin (eczema).  Its not too expensive, and while you're there ask one of their make-up artist to try it out on you (free of charge) to make sure it works the way you like. Good luck!

  5. try Superglue

  6. Your skin might be sensitive.

I think any other brand would use similar ingredients, but maybe pursue that option (trying another brand) or maybe your tube was weird (small chance).
