Fake name on a ticket for drinking.

So I went to a party and was on my way home when a cop stopped us. I'm only 16 years old and was with my boyfriend and two friends. They got me for underage drinking and I was an idiot and gave a false name and used my friends address. They also got my boyfriend for marijuana but not us because we weren't smoking. Well, tomorrow I have to appear in court but don't know what they're going to do. I rather pay the fine and get it done and over with. Is there anyway they can find out I used a fake name? I know I was an idiot, so please, save me the lectures. I got myself into this so now I just want to fix it and be done with it.

Also I live in the state of WI and told them I was born 3-6-90 I don't have a license and I didn't have any ID on me at the time.

For the question about mandatory appearance, yes or no isn't checked.

  1. You added insult to injury.  You need to consult an attorney tomorrow at sunrise about how to clear this up with minimal damage.

  2. If you don't go to court they still may have you licence plate number.  Otherwise I don't see how they would know it was you.

    Go see a lawyer.

  3. Why appear if they don't know who you really are?

  4. You are in major trouble.

That is exactly why I detain people even for normally non-arrestable offenses who don't have ID.

  5. Seems it would be better the skip court and stay out of arms way of the cop you lied to. Going to court would be a bigger idiot. That's the only way they would ever find out about you.

  6. you can either pay and extra amount of money of charge , or go to jail for a little and come out to pay th other bit of charge. your boy friend  did marijuana. something you have to go through. be honest when you get there. its a tough situation but when your done with it.your gonna be happier.

    other:

your 16 underage with your boy friend doing marijuana too. what in the world are you trying to prove ???its just silly your doing bad stuff, causing trouble. are you trying to say your mom doesn't love you and trying to escape from this? i'm turning 20 soon and wen i get to 21 , never ill think of doing drugs , breaking the law, drink or smoke. i'm gonna be a clean person.

  7. I don't know how they can get you with a fake name, adress, and birth date.  I don't think they can, at least not in my state.  A judge is going to be pretty pissed if they call your name and you go up there and have to tell them you lied.  I wouldn't go, personally.

  8. i lied about all my info twice, for drinking and smoking weed. hah they gave me a ticket, and i just threw the tickets away, ummm as long as you dont have id i doubt theyll ever find you

  9. If you didnt give your dob or id# you dont have a ticket.Just dont get busted by7 the same cop any time soon. The cops lie about stuff also so dont feel guilty.

  10. You're looking at another charge for false ID to the police.  Good luck on your court date...

  11. When your name, I mean the phony one, is called, the judge is going to take what you did into consideration when he or she decides what punishment to give you.

  12. I would assume this is a mandatory court appearance.  Once you go before the judge, without fixing the problem, and say you are the person that is on the citation, that is called perjury, a FELONY.  I suggest fixing it before the court session by contacting the officer or police department that issued the citation.  It is still obstructing but its not a felony.

  13. Get a lawyer. You are in more trouble than you think. If you don't show up and they do find you,....better yet, just get a lawyer and tell your parents. Not only will you get it they will get it too.

Good luck getting insurance in the future!

  14. Fail to identify.

    False Information.

    Identity theft.

Welcome to the world of juvy... you'll be living there are while.

  15. well, the courts are going to check your ID, so with any luck you will do some jail time for contempt of court.

  16. Just skip it.
