Fake turbo thing off ebay, think it would work?

so i was looking at this like turbo thing that goes on the end of your intake and it seems like a scam i dont know. im thinking about trying it out what do you think? should i buy it and see if it works?

looks like a scam to me, im sure the power required to operate the fan is more than the benefits it will give you, result less mpg maybe bit more power. if it worked cars would come off the factory line with them fitted

It's a marine engine room blower> There not designed to be ran for a long peried of time> And when they fly apart the parts go into your engine>
