Atletico Madrid’s financial woes have been well documented with CEO Angel Gil Marin coming out in the open after their European triumph to be guilty to the proposed claims.
The Atletico Madrid admitted that Falcao is a luxury at the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Calderon, one that they would love to have but will have no choice if a suitable bid come.
Claims by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gil-c14870 Marin have been echoed by the Colombian international’s father, Radamel Garcia, who stated that despite Falcao’s best intentions of sticking around and seeing out his contract he might be forced to move again.
The senior Radamel explained that the 35-goal debut season hero is happy with the love shown by Atleti faithful, but unfortunately he will not have the final say about his future with the Capital club.
"He is very happy at Atletico and he is delighted with the support he has received from the fans and with the way Spanish people feel football."
"He has four years left on his contract and he is happy where he is, but unfortunately his future is in the hands of the board."
Reflecting on his son’s first goal in the Europa League final against Athletic Bilbao in Bucharest, Garcia took the credit of teaching his son the trick and went on to explain its importance when against a top goalkeeper.
"I taught him that he always has to go for the far post," he added. "It is better to send a weaker shot there, but well-placed, than firing towards the near post, where the goalkeeper is always placed."
With one match to go, Los Rojiblancos will hope the prolific hitman continues on his scoring spree against Villarreal and aid in getting the three points on offer to solidify their claim of a UEFA Champions League berth.
