Radamel Garcia reaffirms his comments about his son’s possible move to Real Madrid after the Atletico Madrid star denied the truth of his father’s statements.
On Wednesday, the Colombian striker’s father stated on the radio channel Todelar that Falcao wanted to move to his childhood dream club Real Madrid. He then further stated that there is a possible move that may occur at the end of the 2012/13 Spanish top
flight season.
The Colombian football player, who scored two hat-tricks in two matches including his hat-trick against Chelsea for the European Super Cup, had to dismiss any claims made by his father and reaffirmed his loyalty to Atletico Madrid by publicly tweeting about
it.
However, Radamel Garcia has again stated that his son is in pursuit of the white jersey and wants to incorporate himself in the Santiago Bernabeu dressing room.
The retired defender also stated his opinion about the comments that have been made about him, criticising his behaviour towards his son’s football career.
“Saying my son wants to play for Real Madrid is not a sin. He always wants to play in the best teams in the world. The next club is for him to decide,” stated the former Colombian defender.
Earlier on this week it was revealed that Manchester City were most likely to be next in line for the Atletico Madrid striker.
Falcao’s father gave fuel to fodder as he stated, “His dream has always been to play for Real Madrid, even though clubs like Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have shown an interest.”
The Atletico Madrid talisman is definitely in demand, with statistics and performances that have impressed football players and coaches all around the world, and it is not all surprising that he would get such response.
As it stands, no response has been made by Falcao as to his father’s most recent statement, however, in connection to the statements made by his father on Wednesday, Falcao had the following to say,
“So that everybody is clear: My dream is to keep on winning things with Atletico Madrid and help http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Colombia-c2873 to get a place in World Cup 2014.”
Thus, Falcao has made it clear that he has no intention to switch clubs, but any of plans can be thwarted it Atletico Madrid receive a lucrative offer for him.
