Falcons’ Micky Young confirms his move to Premiership Champions, Leicester Tigers
 Newcastle Falcons will take on the Aviva Premiership 2010-11 leaders Leicester Tigers over the weekend.
Newcastle Falcons will playing to make them safe from the probable relegation from the Aviva Premiership however beating current Aviva Premiership champions might prove to be next to be impossible.
On the sidelines of the event, it is yet to be seen how Newcastle Falcons Micky Young will play against Leicester, his club for next season.
In his statement earlier, Micky Young has confirmed the move to the Leicester Tigers in next season. Newcastle is the hometown of the 22-year-old Falcons scrum half Michael Young, commonly renowned as Micky Young. Young is yet to make his international debut
however; he already has some games for England Saxons and England Sevens team under his belt.
Micky Young started his career in Professional Rugby Clubs with the New Castle Falcons. He joined his hometown team in 2008. Later that year, Young made debut for England Sevens during the team’s tour of Dubai and South Africa.
Young has signed a two-year deal with the Leicester Tigers who are all set to win their 10th premiership title. Young will be competing for his place with the English International Scrum Half Ben Youngs.
He termed his decision to move from the Falcons to Tiger as his hardest decision in the life. Commenting on the decision he said, “I am from the area and it has always meant a lot to me to represent the North East side, but I want to take on a new challenge
and see what I can do with my life.”
Young’s most memorable moment came so far in career came in 2009’s Emirates Airline London Sevens tournament. Young scored a decisive try in the final against the New Zealand in the final of the London Sevens at Twickenham. In 2010, Young featured for England
Saxons. 
Young is expecting a tough competition from other players at Tigers, which in his opinion will help him to become a better player. He termed joining Leicester Tigers as his dream and said, “It was the ambition that the club (Leicester) has got and the things
that I have seen people do down there in terms of winning titles – I want to be part of something like that, and to try and further my own chances.”
While he has assured that he will give his 100 percent in Falcons relegation saving match against the Tigers. However, on the other hand Leicester Tigers have not commented on Young’s confirmation. Tigers are expected to announce their recruits probably
at the end of the Premiership.
