  1. Carrots grow easily in pots.  Thumbelina is best.  Just make sure to thin them when you see a lot of top growth.  It is the perfect time to start them now.


  2. Chives grow pretty well in pots and can be transplanted if necessary, I actually got a "grow-your-own" kit from Target and they are doing nicely in my garden.

  3. The small carrots are a great one. Also try lettuce, radishes and bush peas.
