  1. I kno this is ur assignment for school and u have to rite a 7 seven page paper on it..... other wise who wants to know about it....

    so work on it gurl!

and once u done email it to me too

    hehehe

  2. Before the wall fell, the world had two geopolitical poles: soviet-influence (second world) and Western (first world). There was also the third world, which was a pawn for both Western and Soviet (comintern) ambitions. After Russia fell, the US became the world's lone superpower by attrition. Lately, however, Russia's trying to reassert power, starting in its own backyard. That's why they're attacking Georgia; it's the first step in extending a strong sphere of influence over their geographical locale, something they lost under the corruption and meandering dissaray of the drunken Yeltsin years.

    Hope this primer helps.

  3. It hasn't fallen.

Look at what they're doing in Georgia right now.

And who was it that said that whenever he saw Putin he saw "KGB" tattooed onto his forehead?

I REFUSE to watch CNN - except to balance the perspectives of Fox and MSNBC.

  4. Not fallen my friend, no matter what the schoolbooks, teachers, or media pundits say.

The Soviet is alive and well.

The only thing that fell was the wall in Berlin.  The Soviet philosophy is still there and still strong as evidenced by the current lead figure.

They did stop being so belligerent for a short time while their economy recovered.

  5. USSR **split** , it hadn't 'fallen'.

Those that are saying Russians invaded Georgia are idiots who've been watching too much CNN propoganda.

Anyway , well , the Cold War supposedly ended, although Russian and the US still try to compete. Put it this way , they no longer openly fighting.

International relations... well , Russia became more democratic , and international relation flourished - relations between Russia and other countries.

Ex-USSR countries like Ukraine are always trying to remind everyone how independent they are now , by trying to join anti-Russian alliances , like the NATO.
