My husband was at a friends house and had ask for eye drops because his eyes were dry. Then he fell asleep with them on and woke up the next morning with his eyes seeled shut and couldnt open them. Its been about four days, he hasnt put on his contacts or seen an eye doctor. His eyes are red and everytime he wakes up he has yellow stuff on it, he complains sometimes that his eyes are bluring. I dont know if he is using the right eye drops for this infection, I'm afraid that it may get worst and I really dont know what to do for as right now before we go see the doctor. If anyone can answer me please!!!!

  1. Yellow stuff - definitely sounds like an infection. Your general physician should be able to prescribe something.

  2. It's possible that the contacts scratched his eyes when he fell asleep with them in, which could have certainly become infected. I would suggest seeing a doctor if its been 4 days and his eyes haven't improved.

  3. i suggest you see a doctor for that cause you may not know what it is and could get worse...
