  1. yea, i've always been told that if you hit the bottom in a dream you die.

  2. The usual stuff like, if you swallow chewing gum it sticks your insides together ( caused me some sleepless nights!) or my uncle told me once after I had some chinese tourists take pictures of me that they were going to put my pictures up on the interent and sell me! I was terrified!

    EDIT lol at katielou....

She thinks you should go see a therapist!! haha

  3. no, i dont think you die, i used to have a recurring dream where i was falling and i always hit the ground, and i would just wake up. I thought it was - if you dream you have died then your brain might shut down or something, not too sure.

  4. Well i was once in a rocking chair and fell off that and hit the floor and i just jumped in my dream and it woke me.

  5. Your dream is telling you ahead that you will be having problems that is beyond the limit of ordinary person. Remember that when the time comes, you will become a new you, inspired, full of life persona! Be low of temper, listen attentively!

  6. I had been having falling dreams myself when I was a kid. Once when I was like 15 years old, my tutor just asked me "do you get falling dreams often" and I was like "how do you know??"

so it happened that that tutor was also a psychologist and told me that people who are sincere and then have a carefree atitude usually get these dreams.

  7. Dreams about falling usually occur as you are "falling off" to sleep. They may be triggered by a drop in blood pressure, a movement of the fluid in the middle ear, or a limb dangling off the side of the bed.

Some psychologists believe that these are archaic memories from the time when we were tree-dwelling monkeys. The ape-men that survived their fall passed on their genes with the memory of the event. The dead ones did not. And that's why so often you dream of falling but of never hitting the ground.

As a symbol, falling highlights a loss of emotional equilibrium or self-control. You may fear "letting go" in real life. Anxiety usually accompanies this dream. It may represent your insecurity, a lack of self-confidence, a fear of failure or an inability to cope with a situation. There could also be a literal interpretation. You may have noticed something unsafe- a loose stair rail, wobbly ladder or insecure window. Check it out. The dream may be a warning.

i've actually heard that saying before, i've never had a dream that i was falling but i spose it's quite scary if you think about it.

    maybe see a therapist?
