Fallout 3 question????

Ok, I know that fallout 3 has many endings, bout 200 or more I think, and it is being made my the same ppl that made elder scrolls:oblivion, but what is so0o0o great about fallout 3, that its been getting awards for best game in show durig e3 at almost every website. What is so0o0o special about it, I mean the graphics look ok, but is that it? What makes fallout 3 soo great.

The reason everyone is so hyped about Fallout 3 is, that the predecessors "Fallout 1" and "Fallout 2" are among the best roleplaying games in the history of computer games.

With the possibility of playing the game as *you* want to play it (almost all puzzles in the game had a lot of different solutions), it was very attractive for gamers that wanted to experiment.

You could basically go on a killing spree and kill every single soul in the game and still be able to get a meaningful ending.

There was no protection for "story-important" characters.

If Lord of the Rings was played like Fallout, you could kill Gandalf, sell the one Ring to the Nazguls and join jorces with Sauron if you wanted to, and the game would let you do that and progress the story accordingly.

And this is what will make Fallout 3 so attractive.

No matter what you do in the game: Talk your way through a conflict, use your wits to solve the problem in another way or kill everything you see, you will always be able to progress in the game.

I heartily recommend to try and get the classic Fallout 1 and 2 games and try them for yourself.

Although they don't have fancy 3D graphics, the gameplay will really make it worth it.

The graphics are really good.

But it has the same wow factor as TES Oblivion.

The game is so huge in its possibilities and the map is huge too.

The moral system is much harsher so youll have to end up playing it several times to get the real feel of it.

You can also fight massive zombie monsters with big guns, which is always fun.
