Familiar with the Virgin Islands? Which cruise should I take?

Cruise #1Ports of call: miami, san juan, gran turl, turks, caicos, la romana, casa de campo, tortola, virgin gorda, st. kitts, st. maarten.

Or should i take

Cruise # 2: ports of call: Half moon cay, st. john/st. thomas, gran turks, turks and caicos, san juan.

  1. Cruise #1, more ports to explore. I totally agree with Hector.

    I love the Virgin islands but one day is not enough for both St Thomas and St John. St Maarten is also awesome.

  4. I'd go with #1. The reason being the fewer amount of stops the more days you spend at sea relying on cruise provided entertainment for amusement.  

    Don't get me wrong.  The VI is a good time, but I believe in more bang for the buck and you get that with Cruise 1.  Not to mention that La Romana was AWESOME!  But hey, I live in St. Thomas so I see this all the time.

    However, if you get to spend a significant amount of time in St. Thomas/St. John then go for Cruise 2.  You'll find there's a lot to do between the two islands.
