Question

My mom has been mad at me for the last week.. and its all because of a scrap at a family reunion.. i hate her..

she always plays the guilt trip on me.. this isnt the first time..her and i fight lots.. and i cant stand her anymore.. ..my parents are divorced..

My brother just moved back in with us from his dads house.. and she treats him like her little sweat heart.. and im left alone, treated like dirt on the ground by her..

She threatened to send me to councelling becuase she found one of my notes...

i want to move in with my dad, but he's never home.. he goes to work at 7 in the morning, and gets back at 6...

... i hate my mom, but LOVE my step dad....

what should i do?

im a 15 year old female...

move in with ur step dad. dont even bother with wat ur mom says ur old enough to take responsibilities of ur own.

Nothing new here, indeed its a classic. You're in the Wonder Years-wondering how your Mom turned into such a *****. You have an infatuation with your step dad, and that's perfectly normal too. Why do you think he and your Mom got married? He's obviously a great guy. My advice to you is to try to talk to your Mom. Listen carefully to your step Dad. He's likely new to this child rearing game, and you can do a lot to help him out. Whatever you do, don't drive a wedge between Mom and Dad. Young women everywhere have this same competition problem with Mom. Ask your friends. By the time you graduate from college, you'll be in a new phase, and your relationship with Mom will be totally different. Its called adolescence, and we've all been there.
