by  |  earlier

Myself and family want to learn how to ski.....We have a 4 and 2 year old. From what I read, my 2 year old is still too young. However the rest of us are ready to learn. However we have no clue where to start and what we need to get started. If somebody could help it would be appreciated. Any and all tips will be a plus

Thanks

  1. go to a small, inexspensive hill, and get some lessons mabye. Once you learn it is easy to teach kids. It isnt that hard to catch on. Most hills have a bunny hill for starting out.

  2. Where do you live?  Try to locate an area near you, and get a series of lessons with good rental package of equipment.  A learn to ski week or a midweek  ski lesson is usually best. For economy,  Early morning or late in the day, is many times less expensive.  Enroll your older child in a group children's lesson. a special group of instructors and  confined area for many younger skiers.

      hope this helps

  3. Anywhere you go should have begininers specials type things where you get a lesson and hire equipment for cheaper. Like anything, you need to be ready to learn, and make sure you know what your limit is on hills =]

Just a slight slope will do to start

    Good luck
