  1. If only my name is on the lease, yes. Why pay the entire rent yourself when you have three other adults living with you??

My friend and I signed a lease together and we both pay $450/month because rent is $900/month. We are thinking of getting another roommate so we can pay $300/month and split the bills.

It's not fair for you, they use your electricity, your water, your food, your everything, they can help pay.

Evict them if they don't listen.

  2. i feel you should sit your family down and tell them

how you feel, express yourself so there would peace and

unity in the home. dont be too self centred so as not to step on

peoples toes. everyone has issues, you know what they say

a problem shared is a problem solved.tell them how you feel and see how they will react to this. settle this matuarity and not on who is the eldest or who is the highest paid. you all are family, you are one. nothing can change that.

  3. What's a pity, it's not fair for you indeed, but somehow they are still your family members. My advice is, have a word with them and tell them that you have no more effort to pay the following month, tell them to help you, if not then you'll have to move from the exiting house. Indeed, I think that can solve your problem. Good luck!!!

  4. I would continue having them pay rent..besides if they live somewhere else they still have to pay..

They seem to give you hard time..

and they use water, electricity and gas..

    Good luck !

  5. Whoever has the money has the power.

In this case, sounds like you have the money.  If you choose to give your power away, that's your choice.  Personally, everyone and everything in my house is here by invitation only.  No one uses me in my own home unless I allow it.
