My family & I are planning on going on a Family RV trip from Oklahoma--Canada--California--& back. Is it safe to travel in an RV during the most dangerous tornado times? Especially since we are driving through "TOrnado Alley"?? What should we do if there was a tornado while we were in the middle of nowhere w/o protection??

  1. The likelihood of a tornado hitting any one specific area is extremely remote. Like pin-pointing a town or city is way beyond our forecasting skills.

You also never try to out run a tornado.  You also don't hide under an underpass,   because of debris the vacuum that can occur beneath the bridge.. Low lying areas are recommeneded  when out where there is no real protection.
