Family activity Indianapolis?

I'm looking for a fun, inexpensive activity for my family to do together today after 5pm. It needs to be under $20 total (2 adults and one child), and be something my 2 year old will enjoy. Any suggestions??

Go and take a walk in the park. You can go to Monon trailm, may be starting from Indianapolis Art Center parking lot and walk down to Broadripple.

Another good place is at Canal walk, it's beautiful and may be after 5pm you can still rent a paddle boat. Canal walk is next to white river state park which has the bridge that you and your family can walk across white river to see the downtown on the zoo side. The scene is beautiful especially when the sun set.
