Family affecting the vote? (Sarah Palin)?

Color me crazy but I don't see this as a problem.

Something I think alot of people forgot was Cheney had a g*y daughter and he was voted in as vp not once but twice.....and Cheney ain't nearly as sexeh as Sarah Palin.

Thoughts?

Being g*y isn't a choice.

Having s*x at 16 (or younger!) IS a choice (and not using protection), and the funniest part is, Palin and McCain believe abstinence is the answer then her unwed teenage daughter goes and gets pregnant!! Guess she was too scared to ask her mom about contraception which is exactly why McCain and Palin are out of touch with the real world.

Cheney brought experience and having a SSO daughter doesn't make you a bad parent.  It was actually something that made me think he was a good father supporting his daughter regardless of her orientation.

Now I still think he is Darth Vader and I would never vote for him, but it had nothing to do with his daughter.

You could have left out the sexeh Cheney part, it doesn't lend itself to constructive conversation.

.cheyney's daughter came up after the election and this is a serious threat to the GOP who support strong family values and abstinence...they are the "conservatives"

I don't think it should matter but when you are running on family values it appears a little hypocritical

It is about Sarah Palin and her views on theissues...not any of her children!

Do we want more war and to continue corporate welfare?  Vote McCain.

I personally do not care what this 17 year old girl does in her personal life. So she got pregnant. Big deal. It happens a lot. But it doesn't fall in line with the traditional, conservative rhetoric that her mother and the rest of the Republican party pushes down America's throat. If these values didn't work on Pallin's own daughter, how does she expect them to work for the rest of the country

I'm not voting for McCain/Palin anyway (i'm voting for Obama), BUT...

I'm a firm believer in MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. Clinton's affair was none of our business Cheney's daughter is none of our business. And Palin's family situation is none of our business.

The evangelical/conservative vote that she brought in (which is VERY important to the election) took the view of "everyone is a sinner" and are still voting for them.
