Family dollar?

Why do ppl who go to the family dollar think that everything is a dollar? is is not the dollar store. and when ppl write out their checks, they put the dollar store, cant you read the signs, shirts, etc. it says it all over the store. and why do ppl think they they sell items that are defective. yeah, some cheap stuff breaks, but, the huggies and pampers diapers, they are the same that you would buy at the downfall of america, just got shipped to another warehouse. it is the same stuff. the generic items, same as buying the generic at kroger, or the downfall of america.

Because there used to be "dollar stores" in the 50s and 60s, and old habits are hard to break.

Because people, in general, like to grip about stuff breaking.

Just ignorance...I know a few myself.  They just call it the Dollar Store.  Even Dollar General gets the same thing.  When I was out on a semi, we picked up loads in Canada of various items.  For instance, packaged socks...Half of the trailer was packaged with Family Dollar packaging, the other half was for Sears.  That happened many times.  Same product, different destination and price.

So I must assume by your question that your a family dollar employee.   Sorry for that.  If you quit and go work at the dollar store you wont have to worry about people being so confused.
