  1. You get up really early let the chickens out ,feed the pig, bottle feed any babies ( if needed ), go out check fence, feed cows ( if drought or winter) in the summer cut hay rake hay and bale hay then move hay ( takes several days) After lunch start to feed horses, goats, pig, dogs, chickens, duck, turkeys, guineas bottle feed again, give shots if needed. Work cattle take some to sale. Eat dinner shut the chickens up go to bed and start the same thing and more. You do different thing every day ( to much to type)

  2. of course every farm is different.. I only have 10 acres

here is a link to part of the daily routine.. it has pictures too..

we have animals.. the plants we grow our for our garden.. the animals are more pets.. but still the link might be of interest

in the winter its more work because of feeding...

  3. Family farm life is diffrent from farm to farm it all depends on how many family members are involved and how large the operation is but the main idea is you get up in the morining and work all day sometimes day and night depending on the time of year and what is going on at my family farm there are to many college educations everyone wants to work on the buissness instead of in the fields so its about like a factory lots or people who think there somebody with nothing to do and then there's hired help

  4. Usually family farms are dairys so you wake up, feed cows, milk cows, move water (irrigating pipe for crops) and do whatever needs to be done to maintain the farm and cows.  Usually on farms where I live anyway, they grow mostly alfalfa for hay to feed the livestock, and also corn and wheat mostly.  Days on the farm depend on the day such as cutting hay, bailing hay, raking hay, planting crops, spraying fields and so on.  This is only an extremely general day on the farm.
