- my great great grandmother had FOUR sets of twins.

- my great grandmother (a twin herself) had one set of twins. (died at birth)

- my grandmother (not a twin) had one set of twins (my mother and her sister)

- my mother or her sister did not have twins at all.

twins normally skips a generation but went for three generations in a row in my family? but then stopped when my mum had kids..

how high is the chance that i will have twins? just because there is such a strong family history of it, how possible is it that i inherited the hypo ovulation gene?

  1. very high.

  2. very  high.  sorry.

  3. Obviously  your chances are quite high, but there is never any certainty as to who will have multiple births or not. Just leave it in God's hands to decide what to bless you with...............

  4. You don't say if they were identical or fraternal...

But anyway genealogists aren't great geneticists.

Better choices could be - zoology, parenting, health etc...

We really like dead people   :-)
