  1. Confront him first.

    Tell him what you found.

    Talk to him.

    Contact your mom after this.

    Contact the therapist after that.

Don't assume that when he says that he wasn't serious, he is telling the truth.

Don't let him blow it off.

Just the fact that he knows that YOU know, could make him rethink his plans.

Don't try to deal with this by yourself.

The more support he has, the better the chances that he will get the help he needs.

Time is wasting. Don't put this off.

Good luck to you and your dad

  2. You're on the right track.  Trust your instincts.  Yes, contact his therapist or doctor as soon as possible.  If you have to try to reach an after hours nurse or MD.

  3. I would call one of his resources... a sibling, close friend, or parent.  You could call your mom if they have a mutually supportive relationship.  It also matters if you are underage.  If you are, then you should definitely call a family member.  If you are of age, or near it, and there's no family member available, you could call his therapist and tell what you found.  It is important to do this if what you read seemed serious... like a plan, and not just "what ifs".

You could confront him, but don't do that if you think he's unbalanced, or might hurt himself, you or anyone else as a result.  This isn't the time for just "spending more time" with him.  He does need professional help.

  4. You must support her mentally. Try the following steps by telling here the following information:

Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily

Step 2: Think before your action. Don't repeat her past experience on herself. Remind herself from time to time.

Step 3: Be confident to yourselves. Remember everyone is the winner. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"

Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time

Step 5: Increase scope of life. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others.

Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought.

    Good Luck.
