you work in europe as a pianist and part time cellist but you earn a lot! but the thing is you can't get your wife and your 2 yr old child from latin america.

you can give them a better life in 5 to 10 years time but you will miss everything, lose the chance to be with them everyday, miss those precious moments like cooking for them, watching them as they sleep, kissing their foreheads, looking at their eyes.

or

go home, earn a little, live a simple life...but you are with them everyday of your life! combing the hair of your child with your fingers, singing lullaby, giving flowers to your wife each morning, preparing breakfast for them.

choose. thanks.

  1. Family wins hands down every time.  Not having a career in music does not equal loosing your passion for it.  In fact, you may find that making music your career will dissipate the passion for it much more than you'd think.  Plus, the people you love with provide the inspiration for your creative juices.  Last point - Your child will only be a child for about 17 more years, but music is everlasting.
