It will be me (i'm wearing blue jeans and a white shirt with a navy tank top underneath) my boyfriend (will be wearing blue jean shorts) and our daughter who is 3 months (also jean shorts and a cute ruffled white shirt)

Would that look okay?

  1. I've seen many families do this and it looks so adorable. The way you match the coilors will make it look prettyy but not exactly the same which is nice. Try putting a bow in your daughters hair (if she has any) or using some kind of accesory to make the picture stand out. I have seen people do a black and white photo but there is a feature that you can use to make one oblect shoe it's natural color. You should try wearing a red belt for the babyand a red tie for your husband and you wear a red headband. Maybe try something different to stand out. Good luck and congrats on the babY!

  2. That sounds really cute to me. And different. I like it. So might steal it from you! : )

  3. Definitely.  You want the pics to reflect your family's personality so if you are a laid back, casual family, definitely jeans and white tees are ideal!

  4. I've done that before with my family, in a nice summer setting with trees and us sitting on a log and stuff. They turned out really good.

  5. YES VERY CUTE i've seen lots of people do that and it always comes out nice

  6. I take family photos every year and I think that the blue jeans and white shirts are fine, but if you make this a ritual then I would suggest picking different color shirts each time.  i.e.

    2008 white and blue jeans

    2009 black and khaki

    2010 red and navy blue

    ect ect ect

  7. usually when i think of a family picture i think of everyone all dressed up..

the kids in dresses(girls) the guy in like tan pants and a vest shirt....

you know that type of stuff

  8. I love it.  My husband and I did that for our engagement pictures and they did it black and white but left our jeans in color . 2 years later we still get compliments on it.

  9. sounds cute!

  10. The last time we did a big family portrait it was with my husbands family. everyone wore jeans (long, short, skirt, whatever they wanted), and the boys wore blue shirts and the girls wore pink. We all were in different shades and styles, but it kinda...meshed without looking too uniform.

I think your idea sounds great, because everyone will 'match' without looking like a bunch of little clones. lol.
