Family relationships. Is it easier or more difficult to resolve problems than in a personal relationship?

For sure it's more complicated. With family relationships you have the long term - GENERATIONS - aspect. They're much, much more complicated than personal relationships. Sometimes the complications make things more simple, like forgiving a brother for being a pain in the &·$%·. Sometimes the complications stand in the way, like forgiving a little brother for being a pain in the &/$·/$&/· when he's 30 years old.

Of course, then you have personal relationships that turn in to family, like marriage... That's where you get the complications of both worlds.
