  1. For sure it's more complicated. With family relationships you have the long term - GENERATIONS - aspect. They're much, much more complicated than personal relationships. Sometimes the complications make things more simple, like forgiving a brother for being a pain in the &·$%·. Sometimes the complications stand in the way, like forgiving a little brother for being a pain in the &/$·/$&/· when he's 30 years old.

Of course, then you have personal relationships that turn in to family, like marriage... That's where you get the complications of both worlds.

  2. Family disputes are always easier to resolve because you love each other so much more.

  3. Both is a challenge because each has there own unique problem, and another way of handling he problems

  4. You somehow always find a way to make Family relationships work. Its a long-term project and worth fighting for.
