  1. why cna't you play with your sibs/rent's friends kids? have a water balloon fight, bake something, make a craft- you have a great chance to teach them something so they look up to you.

  2. Talk to your parents - just whining isn't going to get your point across, you have to calmly express how you feel and what you need.

Tell them you need some time with friends your own age, and ask if you can bring one of your friends with you when you all go to visit or vacation with this family.  Make plans with your friends in advance, before they make other weekend plans.

Or ask them if you can sign up for an activity or summer camp that interests you instead of being alone with your family.  You're at a good age for getting out and developing yourself.

  3. What about spending time with other family members whilst you parents & siblings go on vacation. Perhaps an aunt or uncle, or your grand parents.

Sit your parents down & clamly explain exactly how you feel. Suggest that you go stay with other family members.

Your parents can only say no, if they do then that's something you will have to except.

    Good Luck. X :-)
