was found in a barn at the rear of the property by a landscaping crew. Linda Witman originally belonged to Versailles.
The news of her death shocked her family and friends. Bill Farish, the owner of Lane End’s Farm, spoke on her death by saying:
“Linda was a super assistant and helped run the sales at Lane's End for quite a while. She worked with Pete Bradley in our bloodstock division before she worked for me in the sales department, and she was invaluable to both of us. It's really a sad thing,
she was a very nice person, and I can't imagine that kind of an end for anybody”.
Linda Witman may have died a solitary and unhappy death, but her legacy will continue to live on in the Equestrian world.
