Question:

Famous Italian politician's son?

In the summer of 2005 I was in Turin and I somehow ended up being invited to the birthday party of a famous policitian (I think he may have been the most-recently-retired president or prime minister). I think the birthday boy's name was Giancarlo, and he was definitely turning 30. It was a "Red Passion"-themed party that was held in a castle outside the city. I'm still kicking myself for not figuring out whose actual birthday it was. Does anyone know of a famous retired politician from Italy who has a son who is now 31? Who is probably named Giancarlo?

  1. That's a tall order, Hon. Giancarlo is a fairly common name, and Italy has A LOT of politicians, past and present. He can't be the son of our previous Prime Minister Berlusconi, as he doesn't have a son by that name (1 son: Piersilvio).

    Any more details at all??

  2. I think it was the son of LA RUSSA, one of the most important politicians in Italy, from Alleanza Nazionale party!

    Ciao! :-)
