I was doing some research and found some of this facts:

The color tv was invented by a mexican, the birth control pill too.

The greenhouse effect and the thinning in the ozone layer was discovered by a mexican. A mexican wrote "Over the waves", song that is said to be the most beautiful waltz in the world

Could anyone tell me other things invented/discovered/made/accomplished or whatever by Mexican people. What did they do and who did it?

Diego Rivera [1886-1957],  the famous painter who began his career by painting murals in public buildinggs depicting the lives and history of the Mexican people. . From 1930-34 he won commissions in the USA for frescoes mainly of industrial life.  His art is a blend of folk art, revolutionary themes and Byzantine and Aztec symbolism in a very unique style.  His Man at the Crossroads mural commissioned for the Rockefeller Center in New York was removed on Rockefeller's  orders as it contained a portrait of Lenin.

He was married to Frida Kahlo, another famous Mexican artist whose contoversial and surrealist pictures won her international recognition during her lifetime and who has a museum dedicated to her in Coyolcoyan.
