Famous doctors from the Dominican Republic?

I need a link about a famous dominican doctor. The doctor must be famous for a good thing, I also need a biography about them and why they are famous. Also their area of expertise. I have spent a few hours searching but I can't find anything. Please post a link and the person's name. The link should also have a picture. Thanks for the answers. It doesn't have to be anything long because something is better than nothing.
