Plato is a huge.. definatley look him up.

Archimedes is also a must.

Pythagoras is actually an interesting one if you want to have an 'edgy' paper because he is known for the pythagorean theorem, but he actually stole the work from another mathematician. I don't know all the details, but you could research it.

Pythagorus (sp). He did the pythagorean theorem. He did a lot about geometry.
