Famous medieval artists?

I am doing a project and I am doing it on medieval art. I have searched the internet but I really have not found any midieval artists. if someone could tell me the artists name and maybe a piece of art they have done I would really appreciate it

These links should help you....good luck! An interesting time in art, for sure. Iconography was big...as was manuscript illumination, ivory carving, tapestry work. I'd suggest, if I could, doing the project on manuscripts. The finest examples of the art of the times were found in them...each one a masterpiece that a man dedicated his life to making! I have a book called The World's Greatest Art, & there is a ch. on Gothic & Medieval art. They mention several artists & their paintings. I can give u the name of the artist & painting:
