There is a famous group of medieval buildings known as 'The Rock of Cashel' In Tipperary in central Ireland.  The Blarney Stone is not usually referred to as a rock.

It is a beautiful little town on a busy highway that goes to Cork in the south and Dublin in the East.

The rock is an area of hillside that a famous castle was built in the elevent century and still stands today.

Very much worth a visit.
