The white shark was John Jeffrey the flanker. Roamed the paddock along with his backrow buddy the great Finlay Calder.

Andy Irvine was the scottish fullback with big white legs and ridiculously tight shorts. Although that WAS the rage.

can't think of any Scottish rugby league players at all, but if it is a crossword clue or similar and it says Scott, maybe they mean Scott Gibbs, the famous Rugby Union & Rugby League international???????
