Fan does not work

Question

I replaced the fan motor after original fan developed a sqeal (worn bearing). It was recommended I replace the capacitor so I did this as well. After replacement fan and a.c. ran fine for 30 minutes and then fan stopped. I ran wires to old fan and this will not run either. I went back to old capacitor but the fan will still not run. I have checked and rechecked wiring and connections but all is in order there. I have tried to cycle the fan through all three speeds (high, med., low) without results. Any thoughts?
