Fan in my car keeps running after turned off????

Question

When I turn off my car the fan, I am assuming for the A/C, keeps running as if the car was still on.

You know when you turn your key once but still have the A/C on where it will blow air but not conditioned and you can still used the radio etc... but the car isn't running. That's how the fan is running.

Weird part is the A/C wasn't on in the first place, is this common and whats a solution.

Your car has an electric cooling fan, it runs when ever the key is on if the engine is hot. It has nothing to do with the a/c in this case.

this is probably the cooling fan for the radiator working on themastacly switch when the coolant reaches 70 the switch will cut out
