Ive used my new PC for about 3 weeks, its been all good and such but theres a little thing that bugs me.

From time to time (im guessing when the CPU/system gets hot), the fan sounds as if it speeds up, slows down, and keeps doing that. It could be because there are like 3 other fans in there and they coordinate to make that sound effect (i duno lmao). Is this a problem? I think its just that its trying to auto control the heat and seems to be on a line between certain range of temperature were it slows down and speeds up.

  1. That's probably what's happening.  Make sure that you have good air flow around the machine, plenty of space near the air vents.  That should help with the cooling.  Also, you can set the fan speed control parameters in the BIOS, You may want to experiment with that.  Another option is a program called Speed Fan that will monitor your system temps and fan speeds.

  2. it is doing exactly what it is supposed to.  it is controlled by a temperature sensor.

  3. Most new computers have thermal sensors that sense cpu and video processor temperatures, and automatically turn fans on and off as necessary.
