Fancy Dress / Halloween party coming up... help!?

Question

Okay so Ive been invited to this fancydress party on halloween and i dunn what to wear...

Its at a church and apparrently the christians there arent into scary stuff so ive to dress up non gruesome / S****y... I want something pretty but not babyish if you get me.. oh and I wanna win the best dressed if possible :) any ideas?? x*x thanks

Minnie Mouse

black turtle neck

white short dress or long tank top

pink shorts

black leggings or jogging pants

black hat

cardboard

black material or felt

pink felt

white gloves

glue gun

This costume is adorable and so easy to put together. Your child layers the clothing... jogging pants with pink shorts on top. The black turtleneck with the dress/tank on top. Cut 2 small slits in the top of the hat. Cut 2 ear shapes from the cardboard (making a tab on each one that can be pushed through the slit in the hat) and cover with the black material or felt... I just used a gluegun to attach when I made this costume a few years back. Slip the ears into the slits in the hat and secure with the glue gun. Cut a bow shape from the pink felt and attach to the front of the hat and to the ears so it won't flop over. White gloves completes the outfit.

p.s its a superb costume, and soooooo simple to do, i have done it countless times

be a disney princess, but with a shorter skirt. like the "s**y snow white" or whatever. just un S****y. does that make sense?

or be something like a pirate, or an angel...halloween is my favorite.

or you could go in a group and be something all together. my friends and I last year were the Seven Deadly Sins. and before that the s****. doo gang, and dolls.

lol i know i had the same problem too. and u have to dress nice and not guchi momma because ur at a church.... lol. but anyway, u should wear a princess gown, ( but not babyish ) like a white dress with like a a crown that looks real, buts fake. and maybe with pearls or u can get a pretty cheep diamond necklace and then for shoes, white.  but try not to spill anything cause its white. but u can get a different color if u want. I'm a big fan of Halloween but gruesome and S****y get so over done.

You could go historical. Women's fashions prior to the 20th century had so many possibilities. Marie Antoinette, Queen Elizabeth I or Joan of Arc are all eye catching costumes that might get the best dressed prize.

   for halloween I'm going as a florescent ballerina:)     its luminous thick netting for the skirt,a luminous yellow top, fishnet tights,fishnet gloves and glittery eyeshadow:)   you can get the stuff from isis in glasgow:) or you can order them:)
