Its My 14th On July 31st

I Am Having A Fancy Dress party

Im Going to be a bumble bee 2 questions.

1. the skirts are short on the costume and my legs are fairly fat

would tan tights make them look better? if not what else?

2. What do i do. ive booked a hall for the night which is quite small. my mum says djs are expensive and so are dj lights.

What can i do for my party. i dont want everyone bored.

if anyone knows a cheap dj. tell me!!

Maybe black tights. Black is always slimming.

Bring a laptop with music on it and hook some speakers up to it for music. It's way cheaper and just as good as a DJ. Maybe one of your friends would like to DJ and choose the music.

Definitely go with the black tights - they will go with the black bee stripes and pull the whole look together.

Besides tea lights, what about white Christmas lights, paper lanterns or blinking LEDs?  (check out the links)

I agree with the other posters: you and your friends must have tons of tunes available! What about one of those docking stations, and everyone can just plug in?

Float tea light candles in glasses/ vases of water. Black tights would be better. Make several cds before the party and use a boom box. Have lots of fun.

You should try black tights - they are better for slimming. Either that or go look for a new outfit.. They have cute and less $$ things at Target!

DJ's ARE expensive - your mom is right. I bet you and your friends all have iPods, right? Have one of your friends (if you don't have one) bring their laptop and you can hook the ipod up to the laptop - make a mix before hand and just set it to play!

I ould go for black tights, they would make your legs look thinner, as black is always a perfect slimming colour.

As for lights go and raid your christmas lights and hang them up around the hall,this would make the hall look pretty and would cost nothing.

Music doesn't have to be a problem if you take a stereo and some speakers with you.

I'm sure you have loads of C.D's, ask your friends to bring some music to.

Making your own non - alcholic punch in large bowls with friut floating in it is better than fizzy drinks.

Lots of finger foods, pitta bread with dips, crisps , pizza slices etc... are good to lay out on a table for people to have a munch on.

Have fun at your party and i'm sure nobody will be bored once all your friends are together.
